Gates Underwater Products of San Diego California announced last week they will be doing an underwater housing for the just announced Canon C300 Digital Cine Camera!  The new Canon C300 is bound to be a competitor for the Red One, Red Epic and Red Scarlet cameras which Gates also has underwater housings for and being released soon.

No further details have been released right now, however renderings of the Gates C300 Underwater Housing were shown at DEMA last week.

Gates Underwater Products has released a new Underwater Housing designed for use with both the Canon XA10 and Canon HF G10 High Definition Video Cameras.

Gates Underwater Products (San Diego, CA) has announced they are releasing new underwater video housings for the Sony CX560 and CX700 High Definition Video Cameras.

Due to a different control layout, Gates will be producing two separate underwater housings for the CX560 and CX700.  Both underwater housings will be using the 32A series Precision Ports.  The Gates GP32A is a Wide Angle Port offering over 90 degrees of coverage.  The FP32A is a flat port designed for Macro use on the Gates CX560 and CX700 underwater housings.  Lastly, the Gates SP32A is a standard port offering approximately 50 degrees of coverage.

The new Gates Underwater Housings for the Sony CX560 and Sony CX700 video cameras will start shipping in approximately 4 weeks.  Pre-orders are now being accepted.  Base housing price is $2499 for each housing.  Ports and Moisture Alarms are sold separately.

And DEEP EPIC is a Gates through-and-through – ‘bulletproof’, 450 foot depth rating, 2 year warranty and backed by legendary service.

• Smaller by 25% over DEEP RED.
• REDMOTE fully integrated for complete camera control. Top location is readily seen and accessed by the cameraman.

Gates Underwater Products (San Diego, CA) has now started shipping their two new LED Video Lights, the VL8 and the VL24.

The new LED Underwater Video Lights from Gates Underwater Products are a collaborative effort between Gates and SubAqua Imaging in San Diego, CA.

The new Gates VL8 and VL24 LED Video Lights are compact, powerful, balanced, and neutrally buoyant in the water.  The Gates VL8 Underwater LED Video light produces 2,000 lumens of light and is available in two color temperatures; Tungsten (3200k) and Daylight (5500k).

The new Gates VL24 LED Video lights are a powerhouse producing 6,000 lumens!  The Gates VL24 lights are also available in two color temperatures; Tungsten (3200k) and Daylight (5500k).  The burn time on both the VL8 and VL24 light sets are approximately one hour of full burn.  Additional spare batteries are available for the VL8 and VL24 lights.
